Step 1: Cut out the circle shape according to the drawing

Today, we take the following custom-made metal-with-diamond glasses we produced recently to give you a look at the production process behind them. This is not just a pair of glasses, but also a work of art by craftsmen.
Step 1: Cut out the circle shape according to the drawing
Production is based on the drawing. We will use a laser to cut the metal material according to the design drawings provided by the customer to cut out a circle frame.
At this point, some people may ask: The bridge of the nose in the middle of the drawing is empty, why do we still need to keep the metal connection?
This is to make the bending process below go smoothly. The metal in the middle can stabilize the structure during bending, so as to ensure a more accurate bending shape.
Step 2: Segmented bending (from thick to thin)

This kind of circle shape is different from the common circle shape. The structure has a section with a different thickness. Therefore, it cannot be formed in one go in the bending process. If it is, it will easily produce gaps or deformations.
Our method is to gradually bend the thick part first, and then gradually transition to the thin part. This not only ensures the integrity of the shape, but also improves the subsequent assembly accuracy.Then for each bend here, we need a set of molds.
Step 3: Burning screw tube to fix the lenses
In order to install the lenses firmly, we will burn a thin screw tube according to the lenson the metal fame ring . This screw tube will become an important structure for lens fixation in the future. It is not only stable, but also maintains the consistency and lightness of the overall appearance.
Step 4: Gong cutting, grinding and electroplating

Finally, we will gong cut off the unnecessary middle connection (metal nose bridge) part, and then carefully grind the entire frame to remove burrs and improve wearing comfort.
After the completion, we will do electroplating and coloring according to the customer’s needs (such as electroplating gold, silver, gun color, etc. ), adding high-end texture and visual beauty to the whole pair of glasses.
