Beta Titanium Double Ring Structure: Combining Function and Design

Titanium usually is a popular material for high-end eyewear because of its lightweight, strength, and excellent elasticity.

In our recent customized titanium eyewear development, we supported our clients to develop a new structure using two separate titanium rings — an inner ring and an outer ring.

The idea came from a simple question:How can we add more structural details to a titanium frame while keeping its flexibility and wearing comfort?

Double Ring Construction

In conventional titanium frames, additional accessories are usually attached by welding. However, adding more components to a titanium frame can affect the flexibility and overall wearing comfort.

For this design, we needed a material that could support the additional structure while maintaining good elasticity. Therefore, we chose Beta Titanium .

Flexible Performance of Beta Titanium

One of the reasons we chose Beta Titanium is its natural elasticity.

The double-ring structure allows the material to work in a more flexible way. During wearing, the frame can better absorb slight pressure and return to its original shape.

For lightweight titanium eyewear, this flexibility helps improve wearing comfort, especially for users who wear glasses throughout the day.

Two-Tone Finishing Options

Another advantage of this structure is the possibility of different finishing combinations.

The inner ring and outer ring can be treated separately, allowing designers to create different visual effects:

• Same color with different finishing processes
• Customized plating combinations

This gives brands more freedom when creating special titanium collections.

Manufacturing Details

Although the final appearance looks simple, producing this structure requires careful control.

The key points during production include:

• Precise matching between the two rings
• Maintaining the correct shape after forming
• Controlling surface finishing quality
• Keeping consistency during mass production

For titanium eyewear, small details often decide the final quality.
