How To Solve The Problem Of Bubbles On the Polished Metal Core Of Custom Acetate Glasses?

Solve the problem of bubbles on the polished metal core of custom acetate glasses

Our glasses factory is well-known for producing high-quality acetate glasses, whether shinny or matte, from the metal core to the rivets, every detail is carefully crafted.
However, during recent production,we found that some custom acetate optical frames had bubbles on the polished metal core when shooted into temples

Cause Analysis
The main cause of bubbles is that the air left in the polishing process is trapped on the surface.
This phenomenon is particularly evident in the polishing of metal core. Although this problem does not affect the structural strength of the glasses, it has a certain impact on the appearance, which is very important to customers.

Our solution
To solve this problem, we used a special oiling process. This process is to apply a fine oil film at the last stage of polishing, which can effectively eliminate the surface air and make it smoother.Through this process, we successfully removed the bubbles and restored the perfect polishing effect that customers expect.

Prevent the problem from happening again
Although the oiling process is an effective remedy, we always believe that prevention is better than cure. To avoid similar problems in future production, we recommend the following improvements:
Material upgrade: Change the material of the metal core from stainless steel to white copper. White copper performs better at high temperatures, which can effectively reduce the risk of bubbles during polishing.
Matting the surface: Matte surfaces are preferred over shinny surfaces. Matte surfaces not only add a modern aesthetic, but also greatly reduce the possibility of air entrapment during production.

Commitment to high quality
Every pair of acetate glasses from our factory reflects a commitment to craftsmanship and quality.Whether it is a custom design, a complex metal core, or rivets made of stainless steel or copper, we are committed to exceeding our customers' expectations. By continuously optimizing our production processes and material selection, we provide not only beautiful glasses, but also durable and functional products that meet the highest standards.
